Slutty McSlut

Since I've got a full course load of stats classes, I decided to take one random never-gonna-use-again kind of class - a feminist studies class centered around love, sex and romance. Despite the 500-ish person lecture hall where you can barely hear the professor, the class is actually pretty interesting. The topic that we're discussing right now has to do with sluts and the impacts of "slut-bashing". This topic really makes you analyze your personal definition of "slut" - what about a girl (or a guy) makes them slutty?

Here's the definition I came up with: someone who does something they would be ashamed or embarrassed for their parents to know, has multiple sex partners at a time and dresses and acts provocatively. Unfortunately, I'm sure most girls AND guys have been guilty of at least one of these criteria - after all, girls are constantly pressured by the media to exude their sexuality and you can almost guarantee that at a party, guys will approach the girl who's dressed like a hooker over the one in jeans and a t-shirt.

So what's a girl to do? Apparently Ludacris has the answer: "A lady in the street but a freak in the bed."
